Probably the single most played and popular game on Pogo Games is the highly addictive Poppit! Why is it so popular? Well, perhaps its because popping all those balloons is in some way theraputic, like popping the bubbles on bubble-wrap. But, blindly popping for the pleasure of seeing them disappear can be a mistake if you have ambitions to do more than just let off some steam, as you will see.
You don't have to be a club Pogo member to play Poppit! Pogo Poppit is available as a free online game to non-members and members alike. It is also available as a downloadable PC game and variations on the game theme have been seen on other online game sites; We assume the winning game tips presented here also apply there! No multiplayer games have yet been discovered which would allow two or more players to race each other to a finish. That would be an intersting game variation, though pretty frantic we imagine.
At the start of the game, you are faced with a screen full of Poppit! balloons, 150 in all - fifteen columns of ten. Held within one balloon in each collumn is a 'prize' and to win you need to release all fifteen prizes even though several balloons may be left over. These may be left over because you can only pop them when two or more of the same colour are grouped together.
Once you have won a game or two and seen the pathetically small jackpot spin total you gain, you might be tempted to have a look at the Poppit! high score list. The chances are what you will see is one or two names with scores WAY above your own, filling the whole list. Did these people just get lucky over and over again with some sort of large jackpot spin? They did not! They have a Poppit! game strategy, they have Poppit game secrets, and they are not about to share them around the online community!
If you want to become one of those players that constantly doesn't just win at Poppit! but clears the whole screen, then read on! If you're happy just popping away for your daily therapy, then exit now!

Winning Strategies and Tips for Poppit! on Pogo Games |
Group One Colour |
When you are first confronted with your Poppit! screen, there is usually one colour of which there are fewer balloons. Traget these first. Once you have grouped together these balloons then you will find with one less colour in the mix, all the others come together much more easily. This is the single most important winning strategy for Poppit! |
Choose your own ground |
What does this mean? Well, if you don't like the look of the starting screen, for example there is no single colour that has obviously fewer ballons, or the colour that has has a particularly difficult spread, simply hit NEW GAME and look for a more favourable 'battlefield'. It costs you nothing to do this, and until you are more profficient why not give yourself every chance? |
Poppit! Dingleberries |
It is never a good idea to leave one long string of balloons in the extreme left and/or extreme right column. Once you have done this youyr winning chances are much diminished. Always leave adjacent collums of roughly the same length if possible or you will simply have nothing with which to make those all important pairs.. |

The Poppit! Show |
This is a free game for download to your PC which is slightly easier than the online game in that there are less balloons in total. This could be a good way to practice and build confidence playing on your PC before unleashing your skills on the Pogo world. |
