Pogo are providers of excelent web games and part of their attraction are new online game challenges every week, usually two, plus a 'personal challenge' which you can use to attempt a previous weeks' challenge that you missed. Once in a while a special badge is offered or additional personal challenges.
Many people compete with each other to see how many pogo game badges they can win, they even buy premium game badge albums online to gain more badges quickly. But most pogo games offer Game Award Badges which can only be won by dedicated time and application on web those games that offer them; and they are free.
Typically there are five game award badges per game gained as you progress that game's ranks, the first at rank 10 and the last at rank 50. Some games badges, poker for example, are pure flukes, requiring you to make a 10,000-1 shot hand, some rack up whether you play well or not, such as drawing red threes in online Canasta, and some games offer no badges at all. | 1. Lottso! Mr. Sparechange Badge |
Place 1500 balls to achieve Mr. Sparechange Rank (Rank 2) and earn this badge. This has to be the quickest and easiest game award badge. Make the most of it because the next Lottso! badge is a loooong way down the line. Lottso is a multiplayer web game that can be played competitively or less competetively by selecting 'team' game. |
| 2. QWERTY E is for Emerald |
Place 500 tiles to achieve the Silver E Rank and earn this badge. At around 40 to 50 tiles per game this badge will take you no time at all, especially playing a quick pogo bot. Qwerty is an online web game implementation of something similar to the well known board game Scrabble. |
| 3. Mini Golf Madness Warm Up Course Badge

The warm up course in mini golf madness game is the easiest of all the mini golf courses to play and is useful in teaching you how to play this fun golf game. Once you get good enough to complete this course under par (and it shouldn't take more than two or three attempts as the course is the same every time) you are awarded this Pogo Game badge, though until you get it there is no indication of its existance. OGN Pogo Top Tip Pay attention to the pogo mini golf power-ups on the right of the screen and use them to the maximum to help you gain your under-par score. |
| 4. Mini Golf Madness Astro Blast Course Badge

Now you've mastered the mini golf warm up course to gain your badge above, you should now be able to beat the next easiest mini golf course which is the medium level Astro Blast. It shouldn't take you more than three or four goes around to get the hang of each hole. Remember the tip above to use your power-ups to full effect and you should soon be finishing this mini golf course under par and gaining this next badge. If you can't manage it or find mini golf just too frustrating then move on to one of our other top tip quick-to-get badges. | 5. Dice City Roller Casino Badge |
Be sure to play the No Auctions version of the game and you will find it fast moving. Use our Dice City Roller tips and you will have the 200 'properties' required for the Casino badge within twenty games. |
| 6. Squelchies Seahorse Badge |
200 rank points to achieve Seahorse rank (rank 3) to gain this badge in this rather querky but fairly easy web browser game which requires quick mouse work and a cool nerve on the later levels. Nothing here for the regular online gamer to fear though. |
| 7. World Class Solitaire North America Badge |
Finish 4 Passports to earn this badge. Pay attention to the trips you choose and how many passport stamps they give. Very good implementation of a web browser based classic online solitaire game with bonus options to 'shuffle' the pack which makes it that much more easy to win. |
| 8. Shuffle Bump Caveman Puck Badge |
A multiplayer game (well two player anyway) of skill and no little luck, this is fun to play against AI robots of varying agression or a human opponent. Before you know where you are you will achieve Rank 5 and this first Shuffle Bump badge. Shuffle bump is an online browser based java game implementation of 'shove ha'penny' with bells and whistles, literally! |
| 9. Harvest Mania Wishing Well Badge |
Harvest 2700 veggies to aattain just Rank 3 to earn this badge. A boring and childish game in many respects, but its a quick badge without a doubt. |
| 10. Phlinx Honey Bee Badge |
Win 69 games to achieve Honeybee Rank (Rank 5) and earn this badge. An easy and enjoyable game once you have the knack. |

| 11. Bloop Fire Agate Badge |
Score 100 points to achieve the Fire Agate Rank and earn this badge. Its realtively quick but not much of a game unfortunately - still, you may think differently to us!. |
| 12. World Monopoly Jail-Bird Badge |
This is a very easy to win badge, although the requirements do seem to have been raised a little since the original implementation of Monopoly on Pogo in September 2008. Basically if you get sent to jail enough times in one game this badge is awarded to you. Due to changing parameters this badge isn't higher up the list (initially it would have been number one!) but probably 5 to 10 games will see you gain this badge. |
