On the surface Pogo Lottso! is a very simple bingo-like game. There are ten rounds in which you get six numbered balls and you have to fit them into corresponding numbers on six mini bingo cards on the Lottso! board.
You score 5 points for each ball you match, a bonus of 50 points if you match all six, you fill as many cards as you can, then 'scratch' them to make your match or score and your ultimate goal is easy - achieve the all important total of 3000 for a token spin and the, admittedly small, chance of a cash prize of up to $5000.
But, as you first play you will see that your scores are falling short and other players go zooming past you on the Lottso! leader board. You begin to suspect that these players have a secret Lottso! strategy or even several Lottso! strategies ... and you are right!
Like Bingo! Lottso is a multiplayer game and does involve small bingo cards and random balls with corresponding numbers. UnlikeBingo, Lottso bingo balls can only be used once no matter how many times you need them on your multiple cards and also requires a surprising amount of skill, judgement and a cool head under pressure.
Here at online games network we reveal below those secret strategies as well as Lottso hints and tips for those 3000 plus scores. This isn't a 'spoiler', it is up to you how you employ this information and to pick and choose the best Lottso! strategies for you.

Winning Strategies and Tips for Lottso! on Pogo Games |
Bonus Cards Tips |
Watch out for bonus cards! These are normal Lottso scratch cards that are picked at random and highlighted by a dashed, coloured line surrounding an otherwise normal card from round 6 onwards. If you complete these cards while they are bonus cards, you score double points in rounds 6, 7 and 8 and treble points in rounds 9 and 10. Those treble points can transform your score, often easily adding 3000 points or more in the last two rounds alone when cards tend to score higher anyway. Invaluable! Do whatever it takes to get them, use your star balls on them as a priority IF you can complete them. Remember the bonus cards are picked at random each round, but will never be a team card, or a Lottso! or Super Lottso! card so you can often work towards them being ready at the right time - then just hope for the fall of the right balls. |
Lottso! Card Tip |
Lottso! cards take six bingo balls to fill, they are worth 250 when they first appear and add 100 every round until someone in the room completes it and takes the current score. They then fall back to 250 and start again. One Lottso! strategy is to fill up five of the balls in the Lottso! card then wait for the best value before putting in the 6th. You can tell if someone else has chosen to take the Lottso! on that round because the card begins to wobble a warning. This is the time to place your last ball and take the Lottso! score at its peak. |
Super Lottso! Card Tips |
Super Lotsso! cards are cards that fill all one side of your screen and require 12 bingo balls to fill, although the rewards can be great when you do, but they can also be pitifully small for the effort involved. They are a risk in other words. You get a Super Lottso! card when all 3 cards on one side of the screen are filled at once. This happens only rarely in the normal course of things, but here is a hint if you desperately want to play Super Lottso! Fill the cards on one side but DO NOT scratch them until all three are filled. You don't lose the card, they come back each round so after a few rounds you place the last ball, you clear all three cards and thus you have your superlottso! card next round to work on. HINT Avoid gaining a Super Lottso! card with less than 3 rounds to come. See also the fire card section for another tip. One side-effect of a super Lottso card is that the scratch cards on the other side each have a 2:1 chance of being the bonus card during the last each of the last 5 rounds - which can be advantageous. |

Which Card Hints |
When you have the choice, which cards have the most value to fill and scratch? A good hint is that the more balls they take, the higher the potential value is. Also, if they are 'scratch' rather than 'match' type cards, then their potential score is greater. We suggest you learn which types are which but we leave you with these hints; Aces Up!, Pop Fu, Tri Peaks Solitaire and Poppa Zoppa cards always bring a smile to our faces! |
Fire Card Tip |
When a fire card pops into the top of the column its usually bad news. They last three rounds then destroy anything left below them. They can be used to your advantage though if they appear early. Leave all cards beneath them and work only on the opposite side. Then when the fire card wipes out that side of your game, a Super lottso! card appears on the following round. As long as you have 3 or more rounds left, you have a very good chance of finishing this card and scoring highly from it with a tad of luck. |
Competetive or Team Lottso!? |
There are two types of Lottso! game, one is Team lottso! the other Competetive Lottso! The only difference we can see between them is the introduction of TEAM CARDS in the team game. Team cards give 50 points for everyone who fills them that round, adding up to a maximum of 500. Therefore if you are playing a team game, pick a room with the most people in it! Also, try and fill 2 or 3 team cards at the same time, if you fill three yourself then that is 150 points x 3 before anyone else fills the cards - and they will once they see the score moving up on their own cards. HINT If you have a choice to fill just one team card or not then wait and see if the score is going to be worthwhile, if not, leave it for another round. |
Competetive Lottso! Tip |
If you are playing competetive Lottso! and your aim is to gain as many jackpot spins as possible, choose the emptiest room you can find. Then play as normal except you can afford to leave your Lottso! card until the last round or two when it will be worth around 1000 points. Combined with a few bonus cards and you make your jackpot spin easily! |
