Age of Castles is about balance - finding the right balance between the number of merchants, soldiers, builders, and clerics. It's also about knowing which magical items to buy, and when.
Tips & Tricks
Spend Those Crystals - Your purple crystals are the key to victory, because they allow you to buy items in Ye Olde Magik Shoppe that will boost your daily gain of people, gold, and castle.
Find the Right Balance - Don't assign a lot of soldiers in the first few levels, they are not necessary to acheive victory. When you have beaten each level, make sure to leave or you will get overrun quickly!
